If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read The Way to Happiness.
This book really helped me to understand that I am the cause of my own happiness and no one else is to blame if I am not. It also gave me the knowledge that I can create happiness in others by following a few basic rules and roads that lead to the places I want to be.
It is one of the greatest books I've ever read!
